Reset Button

Too much chatter lately and not enough listening to the things my body is saying or the intuitive thoughts of the God that guides me. Today is a reset day. I am unplugging technology for the day. I will eat properly and not use the reset button as an excuse to play food Santa with my taste buds. It is just a day for me to be quiet and contemplate some feelings in silence so that I can hear the voice that guides me over the ceaseless chatter of life.

Hi Jane, I've also had this problem lately, which is why I've tried to shut off my computer too. What I really need to do is go outside with puppy for a few hours--where there are no clocks.

Also, I've had all sorts of bad excuses for my food. Went to bed at 7:00 p.m. because I was eating because I was tired.

Have a relaxing day(s). And I want you to know that I love your blog posts. I haven't always commented lately, but I think about your messages.

Good idea. Sometimes it takes everything you have to refocus.

Hug.

Hope daughter is doing well and enjoying her new job!

This electronic stuff can take over our lives. All these apps, games, social media, just surfing the net can push the important things to the background. It's good to catch ourselves before we stray too far. Being proactive is key. After this day of getting centered and listening to God you will be your old self again. We all need this sometimes. Take care.

Thank you everyone. It really was a wonderful change just 24 hours and I felt my spark come back in a healthy way - not in an over excited, hard to sustain way. I feek much better and may start working it in to my monthly list of things to do.
