Teleconference May 22, 2012 How to Deal With Talking Food

A few months ago, I was invited by author and fellow weight maintainer, Coach Shela to speak at her teleconference on a great subject:  How to deal with Talking Food. The Teleconference will be on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 8pm Eastern standard time, 7pm Central Time, 5pm Pacific time. I cannot tell you what time that will be in New Zealand or Italy or the United Kingdom, but I hope you can tune in.

How do I deal with talking food? There are many different talking food situations to consider. I know I have used all kinds of excuses for how the food was calling me me in different ways but rarely does the food say anything other than E-a-t-M-e. It is just the way it comes thru my brain that is different: the intensity, the volume, the attitude.

By looking at those things and considering them carefully, I can better deal with the call of the untamed beast.

Let's take volume as in 'the food is talking loudly.

I make a mistake and go into a food store hungry. I am buying food for the week or even just for dinner. The hungrier I am, the louder the food seems to call out demands to be put into my shopping cart. How do I handle that? How would you handle it? That is what the teleconference will be about and afterwards I will post the best ideas here.

Sounds great - is this on line on on phone? I couldn't tell from the lavender poster.

I take no responsibility for the poster. It was done by someone and posted on line before I ever saw it. (I would not have 'billed' myself that particular way) lol.

As I understand it, you call 218-936-4700 and when prompted, enter access code 1937319 - there might be a # too, I do not know.

She will give instructions about how to mute the phone and un-mute so that you can hear us without everyone hearing anyone else's background noise.

I've got task her where she got that photo. It is perfect.

You'll have to let us know if it is recorded and the phone number and pass code. Or itf it gets posted as a podcast. Good luck and I'm sure you'll get lots of good ideas from the group. :). Karen P
